The Point Restaurant

Our reception will be held at the Point restaurant up on top of the University of Utah campus. The reception will start at 6:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m.

The Point Restaurant and Reception Center is a new dining room located on the top floor of the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. With spectacular views of the Salt Lake Valley from the sixth floor, The Point was conceived as a facility to serve medical researchers and staff, patients and their families.

Driving Directions from the Chapel

  1. Take State St. down the hill (South).

  2. Take a left on 100 South heading east toward the mountains.

  3. Proceed east on 100 South for one mile. When you reach the University of Utah campus, 100 South changes name to North Campus Drive.

  4. Continue on North Campus Drive for approximately one mile. As you climb a steep hill the road will bend to the north and then back to the east.

  5. Approach the University of Utah Hospital - heading east on North Campus Drive.

  6. Follow signs for Huntsman Cancer Institute. Just past the Moran Eye Center, North Campus Drive will turn into Circle of Hope. The road ends at the Huntsman Cancer Institute parking terrace. Elevators on the first floor of Huntsman provide easy access to The Point located on the sixth floor.
